Rangers defeated Viktoria Plzen 3-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie at Ibrox Stadium.

Cyriel Dessers converted a right-footed penalty to put Rangers 2-0 ahead. Djeidi Gassama scored twice, including a goal that extended the lead to 3-0.

Rangers maintained a clean sheet while scoring three goals from open play and a penalty.

The second leg will be played on 12 August 2025 at Doosan Arena in Plzen, Czech Republic. The aggregate winner advances to face RB Salzburg or Club Brugge in the Champions League play-off round.
