Malmö FF defeated FC Iberia 1999 3-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi.

Taha Ali opened the scoring for Malmö in the 55th minute, followed by Pontus Jansson's goal to make it 2-0. Ali sealed the victory with his second goal in the 89th minute.

The second leg will be played on 15 July 2025 at Malmö FF's home ground.
