Intercontinental Cup 2024: When did the battle of Real Madrid take place?

The 2024 season will be the first to feature the new format of the Intercontinental Cup 2024 for Clubs. The tournament brings together the champions from each continent, unlike the new FIFA Club World Cup, which will have 32 teams every four years starting in 2025.

In total, six teams will compete in the 2024 Intercontinental Cup. With the victory of the 2024 Copa Libertadores by Botafogo, all teams for the tournament are confirmed.

The next match of the Intercontinental Cup will take place on December 11, with Botafogo facing Pachuca. The winner will face Al Ahly in Doha (Qatar) on December 14. Finally, the final will be against Real Madrid.

When does Real Madrid play in FIFA?

According to the tournament rules, the winner of the Champions League has already qualified directly for the final. Therefore, Real Madrid is only competing for the title.

The decision involving the Spanish club will be made on Wednesday, December 18, in Doha (Qatar).
