A new player for São Paulo was announced this Tuesday (December 24).
The midfielder Oscar has returned to Brazilian football after 12 years abroad.
São Paulo's president, Julio Casares, posted a photo with the player on Instagram, which "ignored" the club's own communication team.
The player has been with Shanghai Port in China since 2017 and signed a three-season contract with São Paulo, effective from 2025.
Career Start in Brazil:
Oscar was revealed by São Paulo in 2008 and started discreetly at the Clube da Fé.
He was not well utilized by São Paulo and had few matches.
He participated in 14 games and made 3 assists. He was part of the squad when the club became Brazilian champions, but did not play in the competition.
At the end of 2009, Oscar's representatives filed a lawsuit against São Paulo for suspected coercion to sign a longer contract.

He was selected for the 2014 World Cup. Brazil was eliminated by Germany in the semifinals, losing 7-1.
