The América Football Club (América-MG) is one of the traditional clubs in Minas Gerais and Brazil, with a rich history and several important achievements in national and state competitions. Although the club has won most of its titles in state competitions, it has also found success in national tournaments, standing out in several editions of the Brazilian Championship.
