This Sunday (November 10), at 4 PM (Brasília time), Atlético-MG will face Flamengo at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte for the second match of the 2024 Copa do Brasil final.
In the first match, held at Maracanã, Flamengo emerged victorious with a score of 3 to 1 against Atlético-MG. At the beginning of the match, Flamengo opened the scoring with a goal from Arrascaeta and extended the lead with two goals from Gabigol, making it 2-0 and then 3-0. However, Atlético-MG managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Alan Kardec at the end of the match, closing the score at 3-1 in favor of Flamengo.
This result gave Flamengo a significant advantage for the return leg in Belo Horizonte, where Atlético MG vs Flamengo will have to overturn the score to take the tie to penalties or even secure a win to claim the tournament title.
