After the end of the 2024 season, Corinthians is already focused on its preparation for the next year, with three confirmed departures from the squad.

Defender Caetano and midfielders Matheus Araújo and Ruan Oliveira are leaving the club, as their contracts were not renewed.
The São Paulo club tried to keep the first two players, but the negotiations did not progress, and thus Caetano and Matheus Araújo will not be part of the team for 2025, although they continue to train with the group.
- Caetano, 25, played 16 matches last season, while Matheus Araújo, 22, appeared in 12 games.
- Ruan Oliveira, 24, spent the entire year recovering from a knee injury and, although he is fit to return to play, he is no longer part of Corinthians' plans for next season.
Giovane and Maycon: Situation Still Uncertain
The future of Giovane, a 21-year-old forward, is also undefined. Although Corinthians has shown interest in renewing the player's contract, an agreement has not yet been reached. As a result, Giovane has been sidelined from games until his contractual situation is resolved. Executive director Fabinho Soldado reiterated the club's desire to keep him but emphasized that the final decision rests with the player.
Regarding Maycon, the midfielder is in the final stages of recovering from knee surgery. He is still on loan to Corinthians from Shakhtar Donetsk, with a contract valid until the end of this year. The parties are still discussing the possibility of the player remaining at the club for the 2025 season.
Renewals and Expectations for Next Year
The board of Corinthians remains optimistic about renewing the contracts of Romero, André Carrillo, and Talles Magno, although some details still need to be resolved.
The team will report back on January 7, 2025, and the first challenge will be against Red Bull Bragantino on January 15, away from home.
