In the match where Corinthians defeated Palmeiras 2-0, a pig's head was thrown onto the football field. Around the 27th minute of the first half, while midfielder Raphael Veiga was taking a corner kick from the left side, the pig's head was hurled into the stadium, landing near the fence that separates the street from the southern area of the stadium.

Yuri Alberto described the moment he kicked the pig's head: "I almost hurt my foot."

“I almost broke my foot. I thought it was some kind of rug or something like that, but it was a pig's head, and I almost hurt my foot,” commented striker Yuri Alberto after the match. To ensure the continuation of the game, Yuri Alberto had to kick the object out of the field.
Thrower Posts Video of Buying the Pig's Head
The Military Police of São Paulo quickly identified the two men responsible for throwing the pig's head onto the field at the Neo Química Arena during the match where Corinthians defeated Palmeiras 2-0. Both are under investigation.

Another individual who accompanied him was also charged for the act. According to the video, Cicatriz's intention was to destabilize the opponents of Corinthians, a reference to Palmeiras' nickname.
