On Friday (20), "The Guardian" revealed the list of the 100 best footballers in the world for 2024. Among them were eight Brazilian athletes.

The highest-ranked Brazilian was the forward Vinícius Júnior, from Real Madrid, in second place, just behind Rodri from Manchester City, who defeated the Brazilian national team players to win this year's Ballon d'Or.
Following Vinícius, the next best-placed Brazilian was the forward Raphinha, from Barcelona, in 25th place. Rodrigo came in 31st place, and Ederson in 50th, making it four Brazilians in the top 50.
The list also included defender Gabriel Magalhães (57th place), goalkeeper Alisson (79th place), and forward Savinho (94th place).
Voting for "The Guardian" was conducted by journalists, coaches, and former players. Notable names such as Casagrande, Caio Ribeiro, Bebeto, and Juninho Pernambucano were among the voters. A total of 197 people participated in the voting.
