The Corinthians x Flamengo match ended in a draw in the 2024 Copa do Brasil semifinals at the Neo Química stadium in São Paulo this Sunday. However, Corinthians' legal director, Vinicius Cascone, left Neo Química in anger.
Bruno Henrique was sent off in the 27th minute of the first half of the match between Corinthians and Flamengo. The forward made a high kick to Matheuzinho's head and received a red card from referee Anderson Daronco.

After the draw with Flamengo in the second leg of the semifinals, Corinthians' legal director, Vinicius Cascone, left Neo Química.
He stated that he saw a member of the Rio de Janeiro club's delegation handing a Flamengo jersey to referee Anderson Daronco.
On the other side, Flamengo's vice president of football, Marcos Braz, mocked the complaint. He challenged the refereeing decisions made in Itaquera.
From his perspective, Flamengo defender Gustavo Henrique should have been sent off for stopping a counterattack from the visitors in the first half. However, he agreed that Bruno Henrique deserved a red card for a foul on Matheuzinho.
"Attributing any kind of situation to today's refereeing is a joke. It's a joke to talk about a jersey. I didn't see if he gave a jersey or not. If he did, it didn't help at all; it was worse," he said.
